The Greyhound Diaries: A Reality Check through American Society by Doug Levitt

The Greyhound Diaries, a travelogue, by Doug Levitt has got significant attention to the real issues it deals with – exploring the struggling American society which is not visible in the limelight. Levitt took almost 13 years to complete the journey through the interior parts of the U.S., and he covered nearly 120,000 miles to prepare the travelogue. It contains many songs, more than 20,000 images, performed works, and detailed stories that give a clear picture of poverty, racial issues, income imbalance, and more. Doug Levitt is known for multiple roles in his life as he is a singer, songwriter, journalist, activist, and writer.
