The OSI Food Groups Continues to Expand their Markets with New Acquisitions

According to the company’s senior executive vice president, “the facility will enhance their ability to meet the dynamic needs of their customers.”

Earlier, OSI had also acquired Baho Food. This is a Dutch-based manufacturer of deli meats, convenience foods as well snacks and serves the retail industry and the food service. Adding Baho to their line gives OSI a more profound presence in Europe. Baho Foods portfolio or products as well brands is a compliment to OSI’s current capabilities. This move will broaden their skills to serve their clients. Baho Foods has five affiliate companies with processing plants located in Germany and the Netherlands. These affiliate companies are inclusive of Gelderland Frischwaren, Henri Van de Blit, Q smart life, Vital Convenience and Bakx Foods.

Baho Foods through its subsidiaries offer their services to customers in over 18 countries in Europe. Baho Food’s managing director and his team will, however, remain as part of the business and will work with OSI to develop a development strategy for the merged companies.
